It’s boiling here in sonny Middlewich so we have been outside ALL day! Lincoln is having his tea alfresco and mommy Reagan and me will be BBQing shortly!

Its tough to cuddle Lincoln just to be screamed at constantly and loudly and no matter what I try he just gets louder and louder. All I want is to love him and give Jamie a break but he is so needy for mommy and it seems no-one else will do especially not me, so I just give up and let him scream or give him back to mommy 🙁
It means I haven’t bonded with him yet?
Oh Lincoln you make dad so happy!

This photo is how I wish Lincoln could be more often, I look at the photo’s we have of him at the moment and although there are a lot but there would be a lot more if he could just chillout a little more. It’s difficult to take photo’s of him when he is either feeding screaming or asleep with nothing in between?

Now when I imagined my two weeks off I invisaged getting all those little jobs done that have been waiting to be done for ages but in reality mommy and Reagan have taken up all my time as mommy has been recovering and feeding Lincoln. So over the last couple of days although still very tired I have tried to start chipping away at a couple of them but have struggled to motivate me self or have struggle to get materials.
The only job that perhaps I didn’t want to happen today and would have not been too disapointed if they said we can come Thurday or Friday was the cement footings for the drive, but no I ring the cement company at 10am and they said “We’ll be there at 11:15 is that OK?” I said it was and they poured it right on time.
If I wasn’t before I am REALLY tired now!
After getting stir crazy sat in the house for the last week we decided to take advantage of the nice weather and went for an afternoon at a disused sand quarry \ nature reserve.

We had a plan to open our bottle of Chateauneuf du pape 2008 after Lincoln’s arrival so on Saturday night we decided to get a couple of Steak fillet Mignot and some fresh mushrooms from the butchers and celebrate properly with a nice meal too .

It’s bliss when he sleeps because it means mommy gets a rest, but he is getting a lot better last night we started with an hour then a feed followed by another hour then a feed then around four he drifted off until 07:04 which was just fantastic! It meant we all got some good sleep after that Reagan woke and me and her went down to have breakfast leaving mommy to feed Lincoln and sleep some more!
