I tell you what, you can not get Happy 31st birthday wrapping paper you have to improvise
I just sat here about to go to bed and looked around the living room and it’s piled high with toys (so much so that I was able to hide Jamie’s birthday present in here and she never saw it all night) and looking at each one I thought about how much Reagan loves to play with them but sometimes when she walks over to me and says “hand” and grabs your hand to say come play with me dad I say “No”
How disappointed she is when I do that, I feel sad that sometimes i don’t have the time or inclination to play with her. Sometimes i forget I am her world along with mommy and to get dad to play is the best thing ever.
You gotta think that these two will be quite a handful when they’re both mobile
She always says I waited my whole life to meet her two children and it’s moments like these I know she will be the BEST momma ever!
Neither of them can stay awake long in the buggy even when its freezing outside…

He is a tummy sleeper now he has got rid of the reflux, and is learning to self sooth too. Its slow but he’s getting there!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILY!
We thought we were out of the woods and had cracked the sleeping thing with Lincoln but he had other ideas this week. We were even discussing moving him away from our bedside and maybe even into his own room when we put him to bed on Friday night but less than an hour after laying him down he started to cry and did not stop even when I went up to him because he seemed hungry, oh how right I was!
Jamie went to feed him back to sleep and I didn’t see her again until I went to bed around midnight because Lincoln was constantly feeding and carried on feeding ever hour all through the night until I took him at 5:30 just to give Jamie a break.
Its Sunday morning now and he is getting back to normal again but it has been very hard on Jamie to get here and she is catching up ion a bit of sleep as we normally manage to do each morning.
Mommy couldn’t find a clean sippy cup so thought it was time Reagan learned to use an ordinary cup…I was sceptical but she did it without spilling a drop…nearly!
