Generally about Reagan
Everybody’s ill right now Lincoln was first about a week ago but we though it was part of teething then Reagan got a rasping cough that comes from her lungs. Mommy was next, and I have every admiration for her because up until Tuesday even though she was dead on her feet she was so ill she kept going with being a Mommy running the house AND going to Manchester to be tutored for her OU course last Saturday, when I’m ill like she is I struggle to keep going. Some would say aren’t all men like that, maybe they are but when you’re really ill it takes every ounce of self motivation to think of the children before your own suffering and Jamie just did it…until Monday when the bubble burst and we called my Mom to have the kids so Jamie could recharge so I took them over to her before going to work and Jamie curled up on the sofa with antibiotics hot honey drinks and co codamol for the whole day.
I am fighting the same illness at the moment the best I can but I’m thankful I have Jamie around because watching her motivates me not to just moan and feel sorry for myself…so its lots of pills and constantly telling everyone “I’m fine” in a really deep voice (because I’m ill. LOL)
Following on from their appearance in the local newspaper The Middlewich and Winsford Guardian have now added the story to their online epaper

Mommy Mommy I go poopy, came the cry and Mommy burst into action saying to Reagan OK OK lets go ushering her towards the stairs as fast as she could but Reagan had already done it
IN THE POTTY!
(If anybody would have said to me that one day I would cheer and shout and hug someone just for going to the toilet for a dump I would have told them they were mad….!)
Yep when we saw what she had done we screamed and shouted cheered and hugged our little girl for doing poopy in the big girl potty lol
We had promised her a pink cake if she did and Mommy is now making the celebratory cake for our little girl
YAY!
We love the park but its “not that good” if you compare it to surrounding town parks so Jamie and the other parents have started up a n action group to hopefully change that?
I love taking Reagan and Lincoln out on a Sunday morning any time of the year but when we have to wrap up warm on a foggy cold Autumn morning like yesterday its especially enjoyable. We took snacks and drinks and set off leaving Mommy to have a little alone time in the house to shower and get some OU homework done.
With potty training well underway I took a portapotty with us and it wasn’t long before Reagan was sat on it on the canal bank and again in the middle of Tesco’s car park (which I will remind her about many times in a few years lol) Then after calling in Tesco’s to get Lincoln a new tooth brush and some bread for the ducks we went to the park for PLAY and eat our snacks.
We always have such a great time but sometimes Reagan has a little “hissy”
She soon realises that I am ignoring her and calms down, and is playing again as though nothing happened? We left the park watching a grandad trying to get his grandaughter off the swing and into a pram when she was rigidly straightening to avoid going back in and only becomes compliant when he put her back in swing at which point he had completely lost any fight. As I passed him I said I feel your pain brother but there is now only one way and that is to drag her off kicking and screaming and she will be fine outside the park (This is what he did when I was right down the road hehehe) but not before I had walked off the park with both my smiling and happy children, little did he know I was crossing everything and praying to a god I don’t even believe in that they didn’t kick off making me look like I knew nothing.
By the time we got home it was a really nice day and all the fog had gone we had some dinner and they went to bed leaving Mommy and I to a peacefull couple of hours doing nothing….PERFECT!
This picture made me so happy when I received it, my children walking through the zoo Lincoln squealing with happiness and Reagan taking it in her stride ‘been their done that’
It also made me feel a tinge of sadness too because they are growing up so fast and I don’t want to miss a moment but sitting at work receiving pictures like this remind me that they get up to so much with their Momma everyday and I know I’d love to be with them.
We went off to feed the ducks and give mommy a break on Sunday morning it was a lovely morning a little chilly which was perfect for wrapping up warn and walking.
