This years Panto at the Lyceum Crewe was Cinderella “ooooh yes it was!” and Lincoln loved it when awake and Reagan REALLY REALLY loved it ALOT!

After spending our Christmas Day at home, for Boxing Day it was off to Nannies house for more food and drink and to meet up with Cousin Abbie Auntie Helen Uncle Andy Auntie Karen and Uncle Karl a rare thing apart from special occasions which is a shame living so close and the fact that it is always so much fun too

With Lincoln being so poorly all we did was make sure he was comfortable and Reagan enjoyed whatever toys she wanted to play with and I made sure non of the Christmas “spirit” was wasted

I wanted to make a Christmas gift for Jamie that cost nothing but would also make her feel excited and fulfilled also, so I decided to try and get intouch with Clarke Vestal a pastor that brought Jamie through her hour of need and he is someone she still speaks so highly of I thought I would find out where he was and ask him if he would take a minute out of his Christmas to say Merry Christmas to Jamie? Well I do not think it could have gone better Clarke is clearly the nicest man ever I know your reading this Clarke so THANK YOU for putting the biggest smile on Jamie’s face

If you have seen the Christmas morning videos you might not think that there was anything wrong with Lincoln but he just wasn’t himself all morning although non of us could put our finger on what the problem was? We put him in his cot around 10am for a nap and he slept for an hour or so before we woke him up to come an see Nannie who had arrived to spend the day with us. He opened even more presents and played again on his trampoline a little but he just wasn’t right and while we prepared dinner Nannie entertained them both.

We or should I Jamie (Head Chef) Forster had cooked the perfect standing rib roast

We called Nannie and the children to the table and Reagan was there like a shot and Nannie carried Lincoln in from the living room as we plated Reagan’s food up first. A shout came from the living room and we ran to see what the problem was to witness Lincoln being sick ALL OVER NANNIE 🙁 in a panic we rushed to her aid and especially rushed to a poor Lincoln who was now white as snow and looking decidedly ropey. Mommy and Nannie went to clean up upstairs and sort Lincoln out while I stayed with a bemused Reagan and ate our starters eventually joined by Nannie and Mommy with Lincoln looking very sorry for himself.

We decided to go and put Lincoln down again to sleep because he was not enjoying us eating in front of him so we could finish our dinner and he could rest. Unfortunately he threw up over Mommy and his bed clothes so that meant the main course was spent in shifts I ate my meal as quickly as I could so I could take over from Jamie who was bathing and then soothing Lincoln to sleep.

We eventually got him back to sleep and he was a good two and half hours before we woke him and his sister who had also joined him for a nap earlier. He was much brighter but still wanting to just hug Mommy and that pleased Mommy who was so worried.

We worked out that it was probably teeth because his gums and cheeks were really inflamed and swollen and there was a hole in one gum where is incisor was pushing through. So that was our Christmas dinner quite eventful and one to remember or forget whichever way round you look at it. (He woke on Boxing Day morning eating like a locust biscuits toast more biscuits and more toast and anything else he could get his hands on so he was back to himself)

Reagan was so scared to come down stairs because when I said Santa’s been she thought he was sat down stairs ? When the only people sat down stairs were Nemily and Grandma on skype…

Christmas eve was hectic as you have probably just seen but I think being Santa setting up the last few presents (A trampoline and a scooter), wrapping them and finally setting them all up for Reagan and Lincoln to come down to on Christmas morning was the most exciting and fulfilling thing I have done.

I don’t think I could be any happier than tonight

After church we sat and watched The Snowman and for 30 minutes both Reagan and Lincoln never moved from where they sat

After that bedtime

We went to the Christmas nativity service at 4pm on Christmas Eve and dressed the children as angels…well dressed them both in their Christening outfits and gave Reagan a pair of wings! Reagan did get to take a cow up to the nativity at the front of the church but apart from that they had a lot of fun especially Lincoln…

Tonight we went to see Mommy sing in the choir she was so nervous but I told her that she will be wishing it would last all night as soon as she gets going. Reagan and Lincoln with Nanny for support joined me to watch Mommy sing…
