Not sure what I have but I k ow it’s not energy managed to take Bill went out for lunch and I’m laying here blogging thinking WTF happened to my weekend
Jamie went out last night and when I finished work I didn’t feel too good, like my energy had been sapped so knowing the kids would be ok I thought I would take a hot bath. The bath just made me relaxed so couple that with no energy I basically went to bed at 8pm, and although this morning I woke feeling a bit better but after taking Billy for a walk I drove Reagan to horseriding and could not keep my eyes open on the way back literally forcing myself to stay awake? The rest of the day was spent on the couch or in bed asleep only feeling something like when I took codeine.

I saw this tonight on Instagram, and it made me smile but also made me think about how work makes me feel feel sometimes and, in particular, one person at work? You know what it’s ridiculous and it’s also my problem because I allow it to affect me in the way it does I just got to breathe ffs it ain’t worth it.
I just would have ended it with “right off” is all! LOL

The coach/umpire (me) whilst reassembling the stumps, gave a whisper of “Lincoln, whatever you do don’t get out, we are winning by 2.” It turns out I’m not as quiet at whispering as you may think. “Guys! we need to get him out, we are down by 2!” erupted around the Holmes Chapel side. Lincoln responded by saying “good luck getting me out!” – rock solid nerves.
The 5 balls seemed to take an age. All 5 balls hit the mark but in a Jack Leach, Headingly 2019 or Monty Panesar 2009 style. Lincoln saw them out. Even turning down the single on the 5th ball of the over to take responsibility.
Sandbach won by 2 runs. Scoring 135 for 10.”

Pool tonight was against Attention All Pockets, and it was important not to lose because a draw or win would mean we gave ourselves a chance of playing in the post season. We played well and earned a draw against a good team who beat us 9 1 at their place so it was very rewarding to pot the final black to make it 5 All.
Jaden felt hard done by MG thought he fouled DL will be kicking himself EJ played a great skill shot and deserved more, The Mike’s were unlucky and PJ and me at the end should not have got a shot! A draw was the right result now let’s beat Turny next week and make the playoffs!
Took me SONOS speaker out tonight and even though I left it in my bag it did sound good I think I need a protective case for it though and a charger!
I love being married to Jamie and tonight we just sat and talked and I thought as we chatted this is all I need just being me with me best mate!
Simple pleasure
I get so frustrated with Reagan and how selfish and lazy she can be but she is so lovely when you get her on her own doing what she wants to do I lo e listening to her.
Tonight we drove to horse riding and she was so chatty and also listened to me too,she is growing up so fast
Sunday morning meant get up and take Billy for a walk and then Mommy and Reagan went to church and I took Lincoln to a SandbachCC internal U11/U13 T20
In Lincoln’s head his Sunday was going to be bowling a couple of overs taking a couple of wickets and then walking in to bat to the Eh Oh Let’s Go bit of Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones followed by him hitting 10 runs including the winning run. After taking the accolades he goes to the gym and goes on all the aperatous listening to his new headphones and then cools off with a swim in the pool.
What actually happened was bowled well but didn’t get a wicket, walked out to bat at number 11 to the instrumental bit at the start of Blitzkrieg Bop and was left one not out on the losing side. After that Mommy and Reagan weren’t at the gym when we got there so chose to swim with me because he didn’t have his headphones and by this time he was so disappointed how his day turned out.
It felt such a let down for me too because I just want to facilitate a great day but he ends up nearly in tears
We joined a gym this morning and this afternoon we had our induction, Jamie and the kids loved it using all the equipment I spent 10 minutes on a treadmill but got bored very quickly…
Reagan and I went to the Kinderton for dinner while Mommy went to Stoke to watch Dirty Dancing and Lincoln went to the Legion for his 2023 MPS leavers do
