With Mommy away at residential school for a week its left to me to be the responsible parent (not that I am not any other time but…) Anyway when Reagan came downstairs in dress that used to fit her but now is more like a t-shirt on here I heard myself saying
“Wow you’re not wearing that I can see your knickers go back upstairs and put something else on!”
“But I want to wear this?”
“Well put some shorts on because you’re not going out like that!”
I saw my future laid out in front of me there and then lol.

While sat doing Reagan’s hair this morning, which is one of the most stressful times in our house, I kept having to say REAGAN HOLD STILL!
This child, sat up, back straight and said to me, ‘leg’s straight, body still….face open’ and then opened her mouth as wide as it would go LOL what a funny little chicken!

Leaving the kids at home for the final afternoon at the festival we went to the main stage to watch Neville Staple’s Band Neville was in the Specials a favourite band of mine and I was really looking forward to seeing him play in Middlewich something I would have said I would never see back in 1980 when I was dancing to his records at the disco….a year before Jamie was born! Anyway we were meeting Foz my best mate since we were 4 years old to relive our past and it was brilliant it was a really great night and we danced until we dropped. Read more

We went out for the afternoon which ran into the evening wandering around the festival watching the entertainment listening to music and catching up with lots of people we hadn’t seen for a while. The church labyrinth was spectacular and worth seeing and for the town it was a huge success because it gets people out and the weather held which is always a bonus. I love Middlewich. The children loved the whole thing but by 9:30 after 9 hours of fun it was time to go home.
