Crabbing & home tugging us…

The company we keep when camping is very important to a good trip Sam & Andy Kerry & Steve plus their children are a great mix and really great to be around. This trip started on Friday night with the race to get to site setup then sit and relax but that I always find […]

Train rides & slate mines

After the coldest night I have spent in years we got up and slowly thawed out and after breakfast we decided to drive to Llanberis, a good desicion because there was something for everyone. A train ride along the lake with a stop for picturesque photos Eventually dropping us off at the cafe and gift […]

Midgies, cold, damp & sobriety.

Lincoln finally got to go on a school residential the one he was so looking forward to in April 2020 until the pandemic hit and the world shutdown denying him and his class mates that residential. This one is only one night away because the school had to cut it short because he and his […]

Being neighbourly

A couple of weeks ago our neighbour came round and asked if I could help her get her husband up on his feet as he had fallen and couldn’t get back up, of course I immediately said yes and and went to help. I found him sat on the lawn perfectly fine but being in […]

Shed base framing

Spent all day creating the frame for the base of my shed and managed to complete it and I am able to see the scale of the building and its potential. I can also workout the materials for the next stage and the best way to spend my money
