Not wanting to take the children away from their toys on Christmas Day we always stay home and invite Nannie to share our day and have Christmas dinner with us
On Christmas Eve we our tradition is to go to church then have tea, get bathed and ready for bed and then all go downstairs for hot coco and watch The Snowman and The Snowman and the Snow Dog before bed
Both children rose at 7am more excited than I have ever seen them, both wondering whether he’d been. It is my job to go and check if he infact has been and he has gone too
At 8:45 an hour after putting the children to bed I thought it would be long enough for them both to be asleep and we could go up the attic and get all the presents hidden up there…!
